With projects in the Western Cape, Northern Cape, and Free State, candidates can truly experience what happens in the industry and see how engineers lead South Africa’s ‘turnaround process’ - one town at a time.

Rural and Netelek have been operating since 1990 under the same name, with their headquarters conveniently located in Paarl. (No 5, Zeederberg Square, Hoog & Droog, Paarl)

Although we cover a wide engineering field - from manufacturing, electricity and water distribution, renewable energy, diesel generators, as well as new small coal power units - we are widely known for turnaround efforts in service businesses in both the public (municipalities) and private sectors. 

Much has been written in the media about Rural Maintenance’s successes in ensuring power continuity and keeping tariffs affordable for the benefit of our communities.
