The available position is based at our Paarl office located in Main Street.
The position offers a remuneration bracket of R7’000 - R20’000 cost to company and is based on the candidate's qualifications and experience so assessed by the company at the company's discretion.
As a valuable member of the team, the candidate will be expected to work on creative design projects for the training, marketing and software teams. The content is typically associated with utilities and the companies that manage utilities. The work scope typically includes writing, graphic design, photography, videography, coordination between teams and orchestrating online publishing of social media, training articles and website blog posts.
The applicant can expect to participate in any of the following duties and tasks:
Writing manuals: engaging with department HOD’s to strategise the material required and then compile content by collaboration or writing. The content will be regarding utilities in nature and all the associated processes within a utility management company.
Videography: planning capturing and editing of training videos associated with utility company procedures and field work.
Administrative reporting: costing, user progress and training certificate management.
Photography and Videography: planning capturing and editing of content in the field for marketing purposes.
Social media (Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram): designing and publishing of content, planning and populating schedules that tie in with the business requirement relating to ongoing projects.
Online Ads (Facebook & Google): Creating, Scoping, Publishing and Monitoring.
Basic Analytics: Google Analytics setup, administration and real-time reporting maintenance.
Email (Mail Chimp & HTML): email scheduling, design and population.
Website (Wix & Shopify): Design, maintenance and blogging.
UI / UX Design and development
Candidates that do not qualify for all the criteria listed below are still encouraged to apply. Candidates that can demonstrate self-drive, passion for creativity and most importantly the ability to problem solve will be favoured.
No minimum requirement is required. But take note the technical assessment will be critical in determining competency in this regard.
Non-commercial experience: The candidate is expected to have at least 4 years of experience creating and capturing content as well as publishing on social media on either a hobbyist or academic level.
Commercial experience: It is expected that the candidate has at least 2 years of experience or completed 2 commercial projects where creative content was created and published in the marketing industry.
